Two hundred years later, Count Antonie Drouot – the Governor of the Island of Elba while Napolen was exiled there –
along with the Ferruzzi family, opens his late eighteenth century style house to the public again.
While Count Drouot proudly shows all the visitors who come to see the house the many beatiful piantings, drawings,
books and various documents specifically for the occasion of the bicentenari, his Highness Emperor Napoleon gives a description
of his “Cinq Codes” and Countess Maria Walewska entertains the guests and offer them rose petal liquer and petite pastisserie.
